I am a thirty something book worm, world traveler, dreamer extraordinaire, and wife par excellence. Musicals are a weakness of mine. So is coffee. I am the Martha Stewart type. I get a kick out of gardening, decorating, cooking, and crafting. I am also a procrastinator. Just ask the bolts of curtain fabric sitting next to my sewing table. The curtain rods have been up for nearly a year, bare, and abandoned.
Sew In Love by Jen started in 2012 as a vintage inspired baby boutique. Really, it is my creative outlet. I channel all my energy toward creating beautiful, functional items for ages newborn to two-years-old. I love to watch how Sew In Love by Jen transforms as I find my footing and carve out my niche. 2013 brings lots of new adventures and growth for Sew In Love by Jen. Some interesting facts...
1. I have been married for 10 years to Matt. We got engaged 3 months after we met. We met in the Air Force at Tech School in Mississippi.
2. I have three animals (and always asking for more!). A one-year-old German Shepherd named Fox Mulder, a twelve-year-old Pit Lab mix named Lucky, and a eight-year-old cat named KoKo.
3. I'm a huge X-files fan. As if you hadn't guessed already. I also love Star Trek, Stargate and Dr. Who. It's my dad's fault really. I grew up on Star Trek.
4. Snakes are horrible, terrifying beasts.
5. Pottery Barn and coffee are my two addictions.
6. One of my favorite things is going camping with my husband, dogs, and neighbors. Monterey is my favorite destination.
7. I collect Starbucks city mugs from the places I visit.
8. I love PBS. Some of my favorites are This Old House, Rick Steves' Europe, Downton Abbey, Upstairs Downstairs, and History Detectives.
